QUEENSLAND RAIL
2005 to current
Full maintenance of the rail corridor, involving:
- All aspects of vegetation control including noxious weed spraying and slashing
- All aspects of fencing including repairs, fence building in any material,
- 24 hr emergency response
- Derailment response
- Removal of livestock from the corridor and securing the boundary.
- Emergency response, often with heavy workloads and in difficult circumstances, such as the aftermath of cyclone Marcia
